VOLUSION SUCKS!!! They have all sorts of hidden charges and WILL lie to you about it!

I paid to build my website for 2 months and never went live because I saw this $65 merchant fee charge debited from my bank account. You can't find this charge anywhere online at all until the bill comes in the mail after you already have your money taken out. So I canceled my account because I felt like it is shady to hide that big of a charge from their customers and I still got charged the $65 fee after my account was cancelled for a month! They said I had to send and email and call...WTF?!

Calling isn't good enough? It would have been nice of them to tell me when I was on the phone with them but NO they wanted my money so they charged me another month even thought I never even used my merchant account. When I called in to get a refund today they wouldn't issue me one even though they took the payment out today. So in total I spent $373 for 2 months of volusion account on top of a $175 merchant fee which I never used, That's $548 for 2 months not to mention all the time it took to build my website only to cancel it and have to go to a new platform and start all over again.

DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!!! I switched to Shopify and am very happy there.

Volusion-Buyer Beware! VERY poor customer service.

I signed up with Volusion only because of their free "migration" offer and promises of a better platform. What a joke! None of the products were migrated correctly-so I spent weeks trying to correct the work they did. The on-boarding sessions was a waste of time. Very few free templates-all the nice ones are very pricey. Every ticket put in for help took days to get a response and then they did not answer all the question. Their help pages are very confusing and not clear at all. Nightmare navigating around to try to set up site. After my 30 day trial I still was nowhere near ready to launch the site due to all the problems. Then next thing I know my bank account gets charged by their credit card processing department-WHAT???-my site is not even launched yet. Three weeks later I finally hear back from them that the charges are for the service being available for me to use-HOW can I use a credit card processing service for a website that is not even launched yet?? Fed up with the company completely I cancel everything, demand a refund for everything and finally today September 13, 2014 several weeks later after requesting the cancellation I am finally told it has been cancelled-but in the meantime they charged my bank account again for processing fees due to the date they received the request was past the middle of the month. Never mind the fact that the request was received so late because they DO NOT respond to you for DAYS! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

Volusion hurt my small business financially. I was devastated.

I have a small business, which I started on Etsy. I started with Volusion, purchased their template for $150. It never loaded properly. They charged me $100 to fix THEIR template. My shopping cart rarely worked. They charged me well over $2,000 for SEO work, which got me nowhere. I canceled my account, and told them I wanted EVERYTHING canceled. I was hit the next month with a $63 gateway fee. I complained and they said to cancel, it would be a $99 termination fee. I submitted a complaint ticket, which took forever to be resolved - and it was resolved of course, IN THEIR favor. I switched to Big Commerce and I have been happy ever since. I trusted Volusion and they clearly betrayed my trust, took my money and gave me nothing but frustration in return.

Do Not Use Volusion - Very Very Bad Ecommerce Platform

Volusion is worst of the ecommerce platforms that we use and we currently use only 2 now but have used many. Volusion is the highest priced platform with the worst functionality and worst customer service. Their customer service is horrible, bar none the worst (at the bottom with Pinnacle Cart). You will regret setting up a store at Volusion. The Volusion system has the worst user interfaces and an inventory management system that will keep you pulling out your hair and wasting your time. I cannot even give you a positive About Volusion. We are in the process of moving our one site off of Volusion and will never use Volusion in the future. We are very experienced in ecommerce and Volusion will greatly increase your failure rate. Zero stars out of 5 ... I just cannot offer any positives with this over priced, horrible shopping cart.

Volusion is a dishonest company, they add services without your consent, they lie about giving you free upgraded service and then charge you extra. The person supposed to help me set up the website admitted never having taken a look at the site.

When you cancel services, each service must be cancelled separately but they never tell you that and keep quietly charging you for months, knowing you are not using their services, and when you finally cancel it all they still charge you a termination fee. They are scammers, a TRAP, KEEP OUT.

I had to out a stop on it. Now they threaten with collection agencies.

I had a nightmare of a problem with Volusion! My $15/month plan turned into $525 because of all their hidden charges!

They also tried charging me $99 for cancelling my merchant account before 3 years, but I only had the plan for 30 days and there is a 45-day grace period that most people don't know about!!

Volusion is the worst company EVER!!

UPGRADE? ROTFLMAO!

Upgraded our ecommerce plan when we reached the maximum number of products. After the upgrade we realized we lost several key features that we were using prior to the upgrade. Spoke to Volusion Rip Off Reps and was told that because of the upgrade, I lost those features and would need to upgrade to the next level to get them (an increase of over $100 per month). Some upgrade huh? Then, the week before Thanksgiving they "upgrade" again, making major changes to the easy editor design software. Their canned response was to submit a trouble ticket. I submitted over 20 and it took them over a week to answer them and not one issue was resolved satisfactorily. I lost thousands in sales because I couldn't add any new products due this amazing "upgrade." The service is a train wreck, the software is a joke and my six years with them hosting three ecommerce sites means nothing to them. I am moving all three websites to a new provider immediately after the holidays. Good riddance Volusion!

We had a very similar experience. Watch out for the upgrades!

Volusion used to be small and friendly. Not so much now. It's kinda like the cellular providers now.

Here - take a free upgrade, then when you do, you find out that you need to spend five times as much to get the same thing you had under your "grandfathered" service, that you now can't go back to. Seems to be a popular business model these days.

I opened a ticket and after two days i had to call to get feed back on the issue

I have been trying to do a domain transfer , I get an error saying that the information provided by me , does not match the information on whois, have called volusion many times , have done what volusion has suggested doing , going to whois website and making sure the information that they have, match the information i'm filling in the domain transfer form. The information is the same,as the volusion tec has himself verified, volusion tec has agreed that the problem seems to be at volusion end, but up to right now , volusion has done nothing, I have called again and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Gregory in Technical support , and has agreeed with me about cancelling the service with volusion, he himself don't appreciate my business and would like for me to cancel , so that i don't call them back again. according to him , to rid of my problem. this shows how much volusion cares about it's customers, that have people working there , that do not care about customer satisfaction. Volusion Platform Update Train Wrecks Sales

Volusion updated their platform November 13th, 2013 and it was a train wreck. We lost over $7,000 in sales in just 5 days. Problems are widespread and include failure to properly integrate with Google Chrome and shut off Autocomplete on passwords, the inability to submit articles with their new Easy Editor and customers can't see their orders. Problems here are widespread and they are failing to acknowledge the issues. This is one of the worst run company's I have ever subcontracted services to and we will definitely be leaving once we can get our platform migrated. Why they would do such an update prior to Black Friday and the most important sales period of the year is unconscionable.

Volusion = Liars

In the month of August 2013 I signed up for a Free Trial and had specific requirements for my online store layout and functionality, the sales person Matt Adkins SOLD me the product and I signed up for 2 plans on August 21 2013. Once I started working on the site I realized that all my requirements are not there and in order for me to have those things I need to purchase a template and pay additionally for the customization of it – this was confirmed by a Support Team 8/28/2013 that whatever was sold to me is not doable without extra money. When I called Matt Adkins ext 519 8/28 and said that I would like to cancel my account and get my money back, as all that was promised was a lie… he totally switched from the nice sales person to the sarcastic and rude and started arguing with me that the Support guy was incompetent and had no idea what was talking about and when I asked for his manager he refused to provide the name or ext… Basically he didn’t want to refund the money and did everything to shut me up… Volusion = Liars

SERVICE ALWAYS DOWN!

Our company has been with Volusion for three years now. Their service is always down which means if you're a retail business like ours, this will highly impact your online sales. We have lost hundred of thousand dollars dealing with Volusion and will be cancelling soon. If you have a retail business we highly suggest trying someone else. They are constantly doing maintenance and sending you maintenance notices about how the site may be down and you may not have access to the administration panel. The administration panel allows you to go into your website and make changes or going to your customer accounts. Overall a very unprofessional service.

Unprofessional cancellation service/ After service

Last year 21 Aug 2012, we confirmed our cancellation with Soraya Jadali and emailed the cancellation to 4 other people in Volusion ('contact@***.com'; 'info@***.com'; 'account@***.com'; 'sales@***.com'; 'soraya_jadali@***.co.za') : it was on 2012.08.21 at 7:58 for user name "youshop" (Customer ID# 715027) However Volusion has still debited monthly charges from our credit card every month till now 2013.06.01. We have spoken to their account/ billing department but the manager Reba G, refuses to refund us money back. (USD. 190) This is absolutely unprofessional after customer service regarding cancellation. Please assist us how we can get the refund from Volusion.

HYDERABAD: Legal metrology officials raided the godown of the online firm Naaptol.com in Bowenpally and seized Rs 1.26 crore worth goods on Wednesday.

Acting on a specific complaint, legal metrology officials raided Pentagon Logistix Pvt Limited godown in Bowenpally and seized 2,430 packages of 55 different commodities, including various electronic goods like laptops, cameras, home appliances and toiletries worth Rs 1.26 crore.

According to legal metrology controller R P Thakur, Pentagon Logistix is a stock point of online product sale company 'Naaptol.com'. During the raid, the sleuths realized that majority of the goods available at the godown was imported from China for a very cheap price.

"In newspaper ads, the company claims that they will be selling a product worth Rs 2,000 for just Rs 500, where as the actual price of the product would be not more than Rs 200," a legal metrology official said.

The management of Pentagon Logistix has been replacing original price tags with their own, jacking up the price. They were also not mentioning the details of the product manufacturer and importer.

The legal metrology officials have booked 54 cases against 'Naaptol.com' and Pentagon Logistix. During the surprise checks, about Rs 1.26 crore worth property was seized

The legal metrology sleuths would also serve notices on 12 vendors, including Wespro, Alpha Radio, Studio XLNC, Online Trading Co, Techno Bazaar Sales Corporation, Titan Enterprises, Mahavir Enterprises, Sankar Tele Ventures, Wespro Marketing, Sagene Corporation, SRP, Megan IMpex, who have been supplying products to the Naaptol.com.

No service and No refund BIG LIARS!!!

They take credit card information promising to assist you then make it imposable to cancel or contact them. Lots of options - DO NOT CHOOSE VOLUSION!

Quickbooks simply does not work. They will charge you for overages associated with the setup, they do not disclose these charges and they do NOT offer phone support for the billing department for when they overcharge you. I had to go to my credit card company because of how difficult it is to speak with someone about billing problems. When a company says "email only" in a department they are basically saying they dont want to help, they want you to go away and forget about what you owe. I have spent almost 20 hours on hold to discuss an unjust charge and now they are offering me a small percentage of the fee off. I still owe $150+ for absolutely nothing! My website is shut off and my company is suffering greatly. There are several different companies available that offer this service. I suggest finding one that does not hide their billing department behind an "Email Only" curtain. Save yourself some heartache. www.Hookupcellular.com
